This website was established by Class Counsel to provide information on the Proposed Class Action Settlement. The site is intended to provide legal advice to our clients, the people eligible for benefits in this Settlement. If the Proposed Settlement becomes final, it will resolve claims made on behalf of certain individuals whose consumer credit information was obtained or used by E-Loan.

The lawsuit alleges that E-Loan violated the Fair Credit Reporting Act by obtaining or using individuals’ consumer credit information for the non-permissible purpose of sending solicitation letters that did not contain firm offers of credit.

The United States District Court has preliminarily approved the Proposed Class Action Settlement. You may be a member of the class if your credit report information was obtained or used by E-Loan in connection with a credit transaction not initiated by you, and you received a mailer from E-Loan designated as the S501-A mailing or as the S-501B mailing.

If you received a mailed Notice of Class Action Proposed Settlement and Court Approval Hearing, you have been identified through Defendant’s records as a member of the class.
